Marion Cotillard is an Academy Award winning French Actress. She was born on September 30, 1975 in Paris, France. Marion Cotillard emerged in around 40 movie and TV productions since 1993. She was born into an acting family and begun on the stage as a child and during her teen’s advancement from roles in television to cinema.
Marion Cotillard is the daughter of Jean-Claude Cotillard who was an actor, director and playwright while her mother Niseema Theillaud was an actress and drama teacher.
She had two younger identical twin brothers named Quentin – a sculptor and painter and Guillaume a writer.
Marion Cotillard was won the Best Actress Academy Awards for her role played as singer Edith Piaf in the movie La Vie En Rose (original title La Môme, 2007). Cotillard’s first famous screen role was as Lilly Bertineau in Taxi in 1998. Marion Cotillard received constructive reviews from critics for her performances in Les Jolies Choses, Lisa and Une affaire privee.
Tim Burton introduced her to English-speaking audiences with her role in Big Fish (2003). In 2009 she became well-known in North America for her role contrary Russell Crowe in A Good Year and for her Oscar-winning performance in La vie en rose. In 2008, she began shooting Public Enemies, directed by Michael Mann.
