Suddenly everything seems to be going right for Deepika Padukone[More Hot Photos]. Imtiaz Ali's 'Love Aaj Kal' has done the trick for her and she seems to be back at the top of the heap. Despite having a fantastic debut, courtesy, Shah Rukh Khan and Farah Khan, the actress seemed to have lost the initiative to her contemporaries.
Deepika's career seemed to have nosedived with the failure of 'Chandni Chowk To China', where she was cast opposite Akshay Kumar.
As for Siddharth Anand's movie, she had to share the spoils with beau Ranbir Kapoor along with Bipasha Basu and Minissha Lamba, so really the credit for that movie's success can hardly go to her.
'Love Aaj Kal' seems to have changed all of that for her. The actress is back in action and her next few releases promise to be very exciting. She has Sajid Khan's 'Housefull' next on the anvil along with Akshay.
She is also doing a movie with Farhan Akhtar, 'Kartik Calling Kartik'. Buoyed by the success of her outing with Saif Ali Khan, the actress is now setting her sight on the other Khans of the industry and is very keen to work with them.
